During NLP therapy the subject goes deep into their unconscious mind and goes through layers of beliefs and perceptions to become aware of an experience that they previously had and is responsible for a negative behavioural pattern. NLP works on the principle that everyone has all the resources they need inside of them to make positive changes in their own life. NLP techniques are used as a tool to facilitate these changes. Using NLP the therapist can effect change without knowing all the details of the problem causing these negative behavioural patterns.
